Where do your bicycles come from?
iMove bikes are Dutch top design! And are assembled by hand in Europe. This allows us to guarantee the quality of our bikes.

Why should I choose iMove?
Cycling is our hobby. Ultimately, we have made it our job. Our bicycles are carefully put together and extensively tested on various components. Some examples of this are: design, comfort, range and quality.
Partly due to our high-quality components, we can say that we have put together the perfect bicycle. As they say in Dutch: Cheap-buy is expensive-buy. -
How much does it cost to use an e-bike?
We performed the comparison with an average car. With a car, 100 kilometers costs about € 14.70 in fuel. 100 kilometers with an iMove e-bike costs only € 0.15 in electricity! For convenience, we calculated with a range of 100 km. This is included in the calculation.

How many kilometers can I cycle on a full battery?
This depends on various factors: which support mode is being cycled, how much wind there is, whether you are cycling on a slope or flat, your body weight and whether the tire pressure is correct. iMove has multiple batteries for our Design e-bikes (President/First Lady):
Model 2022-2025:
- Standard battery for a range of max. 100 kilometers.Model 2021-2022:
- Standard battery for a range of max. 110 kilometers.Model 2019-2020:
- Standard battery for a range of max. 80 kilometers.Electric folding bikes:
- Standard battery for a range of max. 80 kilometers. -
How do I get the most out of my battery?
PURCHASE: When your bike is delivered, it is advisable to fully charge the battery, provided it is not yet full.
CONTINUOUS CHARGING: Do not charge the battery continuously after every ride. Pay close attention to the indicator on the bike to see how full the battery is. Charging too often (unnecessarily) will degrade the quality of the battery.
COMPLETELY EMPTY BATTERY: Always avoid cycling the battery completely empty. This is not conducive to the lifespan of the battery and also not for yourself when you are on the road.
TYRE PRESSURE: Tyre pressure is an important point in the list. Always ensure that the tyres have the correct pressure. The tyre pressure can be found on the side of the tyre. This is expressed in BAR.
Exception: In snow and slippery conditions, it is advisable to have slightly less air in your tyres. This gives them slightly more grip and better road holding.

Which length fits which frame size?
Design e-bikes First Lady & President:
- Size M (First Lady) = 51 cm: This bike is suitable for people > 155 cm
- Size L (First Lady) = 56 cm: This bike is suitable for people > 177 cm
- Size L (President) = 57 cm: This bike is suitable for people > 172 cm

Adjusting the handlebars and saddle
Saddles of each bike model are adjustable in height. The saddles are also adjustable forwards/backwards (+/- 1cm). With our handlebar types it depends on which one you have chosen.
Contact iMove about this if you have any questions about this. -
Can you also cycle without support?
Partly because our Design e-bikes are lightweight among e-bikes, they are perfectly suitable for cycling without support. The centre of gravity of the bike is also in the middle because the battery is in the centre tube. This gives you a good weight distribution on the bike. There is a heavier gear ratio on the 2020 and 2021 models, which makes cycling away without support a bit harder.
MODEL 2022-2025: Features the latest dual gear motor from Bafang. This allows you to cycle away smoothly and lightly and the innovative system automatically switches to a higher gear at 20 km/h. If you get below 19 km/h, the motor automatically switches back to a lighter gear.
Our folding bikes do have gears, these are just as easy to ride with or without electric support. The other bikes are also perfectly suitable for riding without support. This is because of the gears that are on them.

Can the pedal assistance also be faster than 25 km/h?
In Europe, it is legally determined that electric bicycles (except speed pedelecs) may have a maximum support speed of 25 km/h. But if you pedal hard, you can easily reach more than 25 km/h ;)

Does a child seat fit on the bicycle?
Our design e-bikes fit both front (on the stem) and rear (luggage carrier) child seats. Please note that you do choose luggage carrier WIDE, otherwise the carrying capacity of the luggage carrier is not sufficient for a child seat!

Do your bikes also have gears?
Model 2022-2025 Design e-bikes:
The new advanced Bafang dual gear motor that we use has an automatic integrated gear in the motor. This automatically switches to the next gear at 20 km/h. The system automatically switches back below 19 km/h.Model 2020-2022 design e-bikes:
Our design e-bikes have a so-called single speed gear with a belt drive. The gear ratio has been made heavier so that it remains comfortable to cycle at high speeds. Our city bikes do have electric support modes that can be adjusted yourself.Folding bikes:
have manual 7 gears that are driven by a derailleur. In addition, the e-bike has 5 electric motor support that can be adjusted yourself. -
Why do your design e-bikes have a belt drive and not a chain?
After multiple tests with both chain and belt, we decided to offer a belt drive for our design e-bikes. This has more advantages than a chain-driven bike:
- Less wear
- Maintenance-free
- Quiet - Less resistance than a chain
- No oil or lubrication
- At least 4x longer than a bike chain (30.000 kilometers) -
How do I turn the bike on/off?
When purchasing one of the iMove electric bicycles, you will receive a manual with your bicycle on how the bicycle works and the associated operation thereof. Are there still any ambiguities after reading the manual and the instructions of our staff? You can always ask for our help. This can be done via Whatsapp, chat, telephone or e-mail.

How do I remove the battery from my bicycle?
The battery is integrated into the frame. We have done this deliberately to have the best weight distribution on our bikes. To remove your battery from your bike for charging or replacing, for example, you must perform the following steps:

On the right side of the frame there is a keyhole above the battery. By using the supplied keys and turning it a quarter turn, the lock on the battery will be unlocked and you can remove the battery by pulling the two protruding tabs at the top of the battery for charging or replacing.
When putting it back into the frame, the bottom of the battery must first be placed in the holder, after which the top can also be clicked into place.Design e-bike 2021-2022

There is a keyhole on the battery on the inside of the frame. First, the bike must be folded. You can then use the supplied key by turning it half a turn in the lock. The battery will be unlocked. The battery is ready to be removed for charging or replacing. When putting the battery back into the frame, don't forget to lock it again. -
How do I charge the battery?
There are 2 options for this:
1. You can remove the battery from the bike and charge it via the supplied charger via the socket.
2. You leave the battery in the bike and make sure that the bike is near a socket where the charger can be connected. The charger has 2 colored lights to indicate whether a battery is full or charging:
Red: Battery is charging
Green: Battery is fully charged

How do I order my dream e-bike?
iMove has various products for sale on its website. In some cases it is possible to put together parts and colours of the bicycle yourself. This can be changed/added on the product pages themselves. You must check all options and possibilities with a * sign. Once you have done this, you can order the product by putting it in the shopping cart and then proceeding to payment. When you go to your shopping cart you can pay for the desired product and have it delivered or picked up. There are various payment options. Look under the heading: payment options.

At the moment it is possible to pay for your product on the iMove website using the following payment methods: iDeal, Creditcard, Bancontact (BE), PayPal, Apple pay or Klarna Slide it (pay in 3 parts).

Take a test drive
Yes, you can! We understand that you want to test our products before you buy them. Especially because it is an online product and you have not seen it in real life with your own eyes. You can make an appointment on our website to visit our Brand store in Ede or any other test drive places in The Netherlands. For contact details or an appointment, please visit our test drive page.

Can I also pick up my order?
That is certainly possible. Just like with sending your bike to a location of your choice, it is also important to make an appointment with us.

Can I also pick up my order?
Yes, that is possible. This can be done at the Brand store in Ede or at one of our affiliated dealers.
The bike will be neatly delivered to you by qualified personnel or picked up if you wish! We only leave when everything is to your satisfaction. -
Wat is de levertijd
Delivery times sometimes differ per model, frame size and frame colour. For the current delivery time, you can check the webshop.
When you choose frame size and colour, the current delivery time will be shown. -
Do you also ship bicycles outside the Netherlands?
No problem. It is possible that you will have to pay more shipping costs. In this case, the package will be sent via a postal company. The bike will be delivered to you 95% assembled, you will have to assemble the pedals yourself. The handlebar is complete and working, it only needs to be straightened. Accessories that cannot be mounted due to box size will be supplied separately. It is advisable to contact us before ordering the bike outside the Netherlands or Belgium.

Cancel order
You can cancel your order as long as it has not yet been shipped, please contact us for this. Do you want to cancel your order after we have already shipped it to you? That is also possible, you refuse your order at the door, it will then be returned to our warehouse. If we have already received a payment, we will ensure that you receive the amount (after receipt of the return shipment) as soon as possible. Any costs incurred with paying via a credit card (or other payment system), transport costs or a cash on delivery shipment, we unfortunately cannot reimburse.

Right of cancellation
1. When purchasing products, the consumer has the option to dissolve the agreement without giving reasons for 14 (fourteen) days. This period commences on the day after receipt of the product by the consumer or a representative designated in advance by the consumer and made known to iMove B.V. Please note: this only applies to products that do not fall under customization.
2. During this period, the consumer will handle the product and packaging with care. He will only unpack or use the product to the extent necessary to assess whether he wishes to keep the product. If he/she exercises his/her right of withdrawal, he/she will return the product with all accessories supplied and - if reasonably possible - in the original condition and packaging to iMove B.V., in accordance with the reasonable and clear instructions provided by iMove B.V.
3. If the consumer exercises his right of withdrawal, the costs of return will be for his/her account, including administration and handling fee4. If the consumer has paid an amount, iMove B.V. will refund this amount as soon as possible, but no later than 21 days after withdrawal and returned goods. What is the warranty period?
We have the following warranty periods for our bicycles:
Bought after 1-1-2024:- 5-year warranty on material and construction defects of the frame, provided that the bicycle has been treated well, used with care and regularly maintained.
- 2 year on electrical components and battery . The warranty is not transferable and expires if the bicycle is transferred to a new owner, is rented out or is used for purposes other than personal use.
The warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective part. The costs for assembly are for the account of the owner. Your invoice is also your warranty certificate. You should therefore keep this in a safe place.
Bought before 1-1-2024:- 5-year warranty on material and construction defects of the frame, provided that the bicycle has been treated well, used with care and regularly maintained.
- 1,5 year on electrical components and battery . The warranty is not transferable and expires if the bicycle is transferred to a new owner, is rented out or is used for purposes other than personal use.

Despite the fact that our bikes are carefully assembled and equipped with quality components, it can always happen that something is wrong with your bike. In that case, contact iMove as soon as possible.

Are the bicycles rain resistant?
Yes, our bicycles are rainproof in compliance with the regulations. The most serious problem can occur is cleaning with a high-pressure cleaner. Therefore, never direct the jet directly at the engine or the electronics.

What do I do if something is broken?
Our e-bikes are made of premium brands and materials from trusted partners. If something is not working as it should, you can always visit our iMove Service Center in Ede.
Not near Ede? Our e-bikes are designed in such a way that they can be repaired by any professional bicycle mechanic in your area with our help if necessary.

Cycling in winter conditions
You can also continue cycling with our e-bikes in the winter. It is good for the battery to remain active. In cold temperatures, the range may be reduced by 10-20%, there is not much that can be done about this.
We do advise you to put the bike indoors as much as possible, if possible. If this is not possible, you can remove the battery from the bike within a few seconds and take it with you. A battery performs better in warm conditions, so preferably charge it indoors -
Winter storage
If you are not planning to cycle in cold temperatures, snow and slippery conditions, the following steps are definitely recommended when storing the bike:
1. Remove the battery from the bike. And make sure it is at least half charged
2. Make sure the bike is not in a room that is too cold and damp
3. Clean the bike neatly with a wet cloth. Then dry the bike with a dry cloth
4. Put the battery back on the charger at least once a month to keep it active
5. Store the battery in a dry place (temperature between 10°C and 25°C)

Company bicycle
Cycling to work on an iMove e-bike. In addition to the fact that cycling and exercise are good for you, it is also financially attractive in many cases! The government encourages people to cycle more. This has several advantages:
1. It makes you fitter
2. You no longer have to sit in traffic jams

Does an electric bicycle fit on a bicycle carrier?
Our electric bikes can be attached to the most common bike carriers. We always recommend that you remove the battery from the holder and take it with you separately in the car. This also saves on the weight of the bike carrier. Pay close attention to whether your bike carrier & tow bar can handle the weight of the bike carrier and electric bike(s)!

Lost key(s)
When purchasing a new iMove e-bike, you will always receive 2 keys for the battery lock and 2 keys for the fixed lock. We recommend that you store 1 of the 2 keys safely at home. If a key is lost or stolen, you can have it made by a locksmith. In the event that the bicycle is insured against theft, you must also inform your insurance company about this. The insurance company will assess what is best to do.

Where can I find the frame number on my bicycle?
Model 2024-2025
The frame number is stamped on the front of the frame. This number can be found above the front mudguard on the frame.
The frame number starts with TJIME24 and then has a series of numbers.Model 2022-2023
The frame number of model 2022-2023 is stamped on the bottom of the frame. This number is stamped on the bottom bracket of the e-bike. So you need to look under the frame at the bottom bracket.
The frame number starts with TJMV22 OR TJMV23 and then has a series of numbers.For our other models (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022)
You can find the serial number on the front of the bike. A number is stamped on the front fork under the iMove emblem. This serial number is also registered in our system when you purchase the e-bike. The serial number always starts with SW. Depending on the model and year of manufacture, this can start with, for example: SW19, SW20, SW21, SW22 or SW23. -

With our Bicycle Insurance from ANWB, you can lock and leave your bicycle or e-bike with peace of mind. Thanks to the track & trace transmitter that is attached to the bicycle, we can always track your bicycle. If this is not possible within 48 hours? We will reimburse the purchase price for the first 3 years. With this insurance, you also benefit from ANWB Breakdown Assistance. Wherever you are stranded, we will quickly get you back on the road.Bicycle insurance:

Bike got stolen
Theft is never pleasant. It is always wise to report it to the police, even if you do not have insurance. If you have taken out insurance, you can contact the insurance company. They will help you further with the handling of this. Always inform iMove e-bikes about this. This way we can help where necessary and also note this in our system!
